Magnus

The work is built from earth-bound layers where light slowly breaks through the surface. Bright glimmers cut through the heaviness, revealing that strength is also the ability to let light in; a meaning carried in the name Magnus. Within the depths of the layers, several figures begin to emerge. A central presence seems to grow out of the light, while other forms gather around him like quiet guardians. They move between the colours as a protective presence, appearing only to the attentive eye. Magnus is a work that leaves traces for the viewer to discover; a meeting between weight and light, between what is seen and what is only sensed, yet deeply felt.
